Ringstone Funding is pleased to announce the appointment of Melvin Chepkoech as Africa Associate, supporting the firm’s expansion across the African continent and strengthening its capabilities in green and social bond origination.
Melvin brings over eight years of experience across financial services and climate technology, with expertise spanning structured trade and commodity finance, macroeconomic research, climate change regulation (including CBAM), and fixed income markets.
She has worked across Kenya, Rwanda, and the United Kingdom, developing a strong understanding of emerging market capital flows and the growing demand for sustainable infrastructure financing across Africa.
At Ringstone Funding, Melvin will focus on originating green and social bond opportunities across Africa, working with governments, infrastructure developers, and private sector issuers seeking access to international capital markets. Her current regional engagements include Zambia, South Africa, and Tanzania, where she is actively supporting the development of sustainable financing opportunities aligned with infrastructure growth and climate transition initiatives.
